We are actively looking for a charity to support these animals and would love your help finding one. Until we've found one, we will ring fence any money raised for this animal to go to the charity when we find the right one.

Read on, to understand what we also do with extinct animals.

Dogs

Dogs have been our best buds for centuries, always ready with a wagging tail and a face full of love. They ask for so little: some belly rubs, a tasty treat, and maybe a game of fetch (or ten). In return, they give us unwavering loyalty, endless joy, and some truly hilarious zoomies. That’s why it’s only fair that we treat them with kindness and keep them safe from harm. A happy, well-loved dog makes the world a better place, one goofy grin and sloppy kiss at a time. So, let’s give our furry friends the love and care they deserve!

Cats

Cats have been our companions for thousands of years, offering affection, companionship, and even pest control. But beyond their practical benefits, they are sentient beings capable of love, fear, and trust. Treating them with kindness isn't just a moral obligation, it reflects our values as a society. When we care for cats, whether as pets or strays, we recognise their right to live without suffering. Preventing mistreatment means ensuring they have food, shelter, and protection from harm. Plus, a world where animals are treated with compassion is ultimately a better, more humane world for everyone.

Pandas

Giant pandas are an endangered species, with only around 1,800 individuals remaining in the wild. Their habitat in China has been drastically reduced due to human activities such as deforestation and agriculture, leaving them with limited food sources and little space to roam. The loss of their habitat has also led to a decline in the bamboo forests that pandas rely on for food, making it even more difficult for them to survive.

In addition to habitat loss, pandas also face threats from poaching and climate change. The illegal trade of panda skins and body parts remains a persistent problem in China, despite efforts to crack down on the trade. Climate change also poses a threat to pandas, as it can alter their habitat and disrupt the timing of bamboo growth, further limiting their food supply. As such, it is crucial to support conservation efforts for pandas in China to ensure their survival and the protection of their habitat.

But this animal is extinct?!

Dinosaurs

We know velociraptors are sadly extinct, that's why proceeds from these gorgeous creatures will go to saving all of our animals. Making sure that in the future, we don't have anymore animals go extinct.

Our Philosophy

Restoring the biodiversity of our planet and its varied species is at the core of Bare Kind’s mission. By donating 10% of gross profits to charities that support the animals on our socks, we can continue fighting the fight against species extinction.

Bare Kind has been able to achieve an all-time high of donations in recent years. The business expanded its sock range to 40+ pairs and supports 25+ charities.

Our Charity Impact Reports highlight the projects we have been able to fund with our charity partners and the incredible animals we support.

Our hope is that something as humble as a pair of socks can make a lasting impression on our world and change it for the better. A huge thank you goes out to all our customers who have wanted to make a difference and empower the restoration of our planet with their socks.
