After seeing Khumbu the snow leopard at Twycross Zoo and being amazed by him, I bought this pair in the gift shop. I put them on and went back to show Khumbu, and he said they looked great. Well, I say "he said". He's a snow leopard, he couldn't speak. But he looked around and gave a sort of leopardy smile. He might just have been yawning though, I don't know, I'm not a wildlife biologist. Anyway, it doesn't matter what Khumbu thinks, because he couldn't wear these socks - they'd be too small for him and his claws would probably rip them. But I love them. They're nice and warm and very comfortable. And it's helped, in some small way, to protect the beautiful but vulnerable species.

I didnt like the designs. Its all the designs no one really wants. All big motiffs, and very bright. Not sure sure i will wear any of them. My fault for going for a mystery bundle!
Thanks for the honest review Susan! Totally get that the mystery bundle isn’t for everyone — it’s always a bit of a gamble, especially when it comes to something as subjective as design or colour. Sorry they didn’t hit the mark for you this time. If you’re ever after something a bit more subtle, we’ve got loads of other styles that might be more up your street like our small motifs or ribbed socks. Really appreciate you giving us a try :)

My Barekind socks get regular compliments with one colleague even saying that I have superior sock game. They’re comfortable, well made and the designs are bright, colourful and eye catching. The fact that they donate a portion of the price to wildlife charities is also a nice bonus. It’s not often that you can say your socks have helped wildlife.

I had previously bought my 'nature' socks from another supplier, but they were not reviewing well so I looked for someone else. I'm so glad I found 'Bare Kind'. These are the most comfortable socks I've owned and the colourful prints are great. They wash well - I remember to pull them out a little when still a little damp - and still are looking great. Thank you for your socks and for what you're doing for our planet. :-D
