British Hedgehogs Preservation Society
British Hedgehog Preservation Society
Registered Charity Number: 1164542
"Founded in 1982 the British Hedgehog Preservation Society offers help and advice to those with sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs and maintains a list of rehabilitators in the UK."
The Society creates campaigns advocating for hedgehog welfare, protection and rescue, as well as educating local communities across the country. This includes school children! BHPS also funds research initiatives into hedgehog conservation.
Did you know that hedgehog spines are actually modified hair - or that the oldest known age of a hedgehog is 16! Oh, to be sweet 16... In any case, they're pretty hardcore for being so tiny: hedgehogs have partial immunity to snake venom!

Save the Hedgehogs!
10% of profits on every Save the Hedgehog sock sale goes toward the BHPS. This is the same for our kiddies socks of the animal as well, so feel free to treat yourself, your local tiny humans and perhaps the odd hedgehog chilling about in a nearby garden!
