I know your socks are lovely as I have other pairs. Unfortunately you rely on Royal Mail to deliver and they are not here. I would recommend as a company you ditch them and go to a reliable courier. Unfortunately not sure I will be able to give them as a gift if they don't arrive before Christmas.
